Job summary

ABB Motion is seeking an SAP ERP Functional Analyst to drive MM solutions across the ERP landscape in Finland and across the Baltic region. You will partner with business stakeholders to translate needs into SAP-driven processes and lead design through release in a multinational Centre of Excellence.

The role focuses on transforming from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA, collaborating across countries, and shaping how SAP supports core business processes with continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience with SAP ERP solutions, especially Supply Chain or Logistics.
• Hands-on knowledge of SAP Materials Management (MM).
• Ability to translate business needs into SAP solutions.
• Understanding of SAP configuration and ERP delivery.
• Strong relationship-building with technical and business teams.
• Familiarity with change management and software lifecycles.
• English proficiency; Finnish an advantage.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Join ABB Motion’s ERP Center of Excellence in Finland as an SAP ERP Functional Analyst and help improve our ERP landscape across Finland and the Baltic countries. This role can be based in either Vaasa or Helsinki.

In this position, you'll work closely with business stakeholders to develop, improve, and support SAP solutions that enable our daily operations. Rather than focusing on support activities, you’ll have the opportunity to shape how SAP supports key business processes and play an important role in ABB Motion’s transformation journey from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA.

You’ll collaborate with colleagues across multiple countries in an international environment, helping solve business challenges through technology while driving continuous process improvement. You will be mainly accountable for:

• Own Materials Management (MM) solutions across the system.
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate business needs into effective SAP solutions.
• Configure, test and continuously improve SAP functionality and processes.
• Lead functional design activities from requirements through implementation and release.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to deliver scalable, compliant ERP solutions.
• Act as a trusted advisor to Business Process Owners and IS stakeholders.
• Contribute to ABB Motion's SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA transformation.
• Support business-critical SAP solutions used across multiple countries and business units.
• Work with experienced colleagues in an international ERP Center of Excellence.
• Influence business processes by delivering solutions that create real value for users.
• Continuously develop your SAP expertise through challenging projects and learning opportunities.

Qualifications for the Role

• Experience working with and developing SAP ERP solutions, especially Supply Chain processes or Logistics processes.
• Practical knowledge of SAP Materials Management (MM).
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into functional SAP solutions.
• Understanding of SAP configuration and ERP solution delivery.
• The ability to build close relationships with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Experience working with change management and software lifecycle processes.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum or ITIL is an advantage.
• SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA certifications are welcome but not essential.
• Professional proficiency in English is required. Finnish is considered an advantage.
