Job summary

Ledcor is seeking a Journeyperson Ironworker for a major industrial expansion project in Fort Saskatchewan, AB. You will erect, install, and align structural steel, perform bolt-up and rigging, interpret blueprints and lift plans, and support crane lifts with strict adherence to fall protection and safety procedures.

The role requires working from heights and holding a provincial journeyperson ticket. We offer LOA/travel allowances and extended health benefits through CLAC, with a 10 days on/4

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Ironworker ticket from a recognized provincial training authority.
• Apprentice Ironworkers must be registered with a provincial training authority.
• Industrial construction experience required.
• Ability to work from heights.
• Fall Protection Certification required.
• Valid government ID.
• Project online orientations completed.

Responsibilities

• Erect, install, and align structural steel components per engineered drawings.
• Perform bolt-up, torqueing, and structural assembly to specification.
• Execute rigging and signaling for crane lifts, guiding loads safely into place.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and lift plans to support installation.
• Complete FLHAs and follow all site safety procedures, including fall protection and permit systems.
• Operate and inspect tools, rigging equipment, and access equipment.
• Support material handling, site organization, and crew activities.
• Meet project deadlines while maintaining Ledcor safety and quality standards.
