PCL Industrial Constructors Inc. is seeking Journeyperson and Apprentice Structural Ironworkers for the Dow F2S Cracker Separation Civil Project near Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta.

These roles involve structural steel erection in an industrial setting, with opportunities for both experienced and apprentice ironworkers. Perks include hourly wages up to $53.80 for Journeypersons, with progressive rates and benefits under the PLA Division 8 Agreement.

Qualifications

  • Registered Ironworker Apprentice or Journeyperson (Structural)
  • CSTS 09 or 2020 Fundamental certification
  • ESC Fall Protection certification
  • ESC Elevated Work Platform certification
  • Experience with structural steel erection in industrial and modular construction
  • Strong lifting, rigging, and hoisting knowledge
  • Willingness to affiliate with Ironworkers Local 720
  • Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
  • Physically able to climb, work at elevations, and lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

  • Erect structural steel in an industrial setting according to project specs
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures on site
  • Collaborate with crew for efficient, safe execution of lifts and rigging
