Ledcor Construction, Inc. seeks skilled Journeyperson Ironworkers for a major expansion project in Fort Saskatchewan, AB. Join a safety‑driven team delivering high‑quality structural steel installations on a large industrial site.

Applicants should hold a Journeyperson Ironworker ticket (or be registered as an apprentice), have industrial construction experience, and be able to work from heights with Fall Protection Certification. LOA/travel allowance and extended health benefits are provided.

Qualifications

  • Journeyperson Ironworker ticket from a recognized provincial training authority.
  • Apprentice Ironworkers must be registered with a provincial training authority.
  • Previous industrial construction experience.
  • Must be able to work from heights.
  • Fall Protection Certification.
  • Valid government ID.
  • Project online orientations must be completed.

Responsibilities

  • Erect, install, and align structural steel components (beams, columns, platforms, pipe racks) per engineered drawings.
  • Perform bolt-up, torqueing, and structural assembly to specification.
  • Execute rigging and signaling for crane lifts, guiding loads safely into place.
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and lift plans to support accurate installation.
  • Complete FLHAs and follow all site safety procedures, including fall protection and permit systems.
  • Operate and inspect tools, rigging equipment, and access equipment.
  • Support material handling, site organization, and crew activities.
  • Complete tasks safely, efficiently, and within project deadlines, following Ledcor’s high standards for safety and quality.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Erect, install, and align structural steel components (beams, columns, platforms, pipe racks) per engineered drawings

  • Work schedule: 10 days on / 4 days off or 5 days on / 2 days off
