Infosys is seeking a IOS Lead Developer.

This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle, including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. The role involves creating high-level design artifacts, delivering high-quality code for modules, leading validation for testing, and supporting activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty. Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Calgary, Alberta, or willing to relocate. Travel may be required.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution. Consideration will also be given to three years of progressive experience in lieu of each year of education.
• Experience as a highly skilled Android developer with over 7 to 9 years of relevant experience.
• Candidates authorized to work in Canada without employer-sponsored visas are welcome. Immigration sponsorship cannot be provided for this role.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of Java & Android build system, with experience in Kotlin.
• Proficiency in Android development tools and technologies such as Jetpack Compose, Room Database, Retrofit, and Firebase.
• Strong object-oriented design skills, including design patterns, data structures, and test-driven development.
• Knowledge of memory management and concurrency.
• Understanding of Android internals, UI design principles, patterns, and best practices for building high-performance, low-footprint apps.
• Experience building Android apps from scratch with a focus on architecture, familiar with MVP, MVVM, VIPER patterns.
• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON.
• Familiarity with third-party libraries and APIs such as Dagger, RxJava, Retrofit, GSON, Jackson.
• Hands-on experience with JUnit and Mockito.

Estimated annual compensation range for candidates based in Ontario:

$89,004 to $115,491

The role involves sitting and working at a computer for extended periods. Communication may be via telephone, email, or face-to-face. Extensive travel may be required based on client and project needs.
