Infosys is seeking a IOS Lead Developer

This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle, including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. The role involves creating high-level design artifacts, delivering high-quality code for modules, leading validation for all types of testing, and supporting activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty. Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Calgary, Alberta, or be willing to relocate. Travel may be required.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution. Consideration will also be given to three years of progressive experience in the field in lieu of a degree.
• Highly experienced Android developer with over 7 to 9 years of relevant experience.
• Candidates authorized to work in Canada without employer-sponsored visas are welcome. Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of Java & Android build system, with experience in Kotlin.
• Proficiency in Android development tools and technologies, including Jetpack Compose, Room Database, Retrofit, and Firebase.
• Strong object-oriented design skills, including design patterns, data structures, and test-driven development.
• Sound knowledge of memory management and concurrency.
• Working knowledge of Android internals, UI design principles, patterns, and best practices for building high-performance, low-footprint apps.
• Experience building Android apps from scratch with a focus on architecture, familiar with MVP, MVVM, VIPER, etc.
• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON.
• Experience with third-party libraries, APIs, web services, and JSON, e.g., Dagger, RxJava, Retrofit, GSON, Jackson.
• Hands-on experience with JUnit and Mockito.

Estimated annual compensation range for Ontario: $89,004 to $115,491

The role involves prolonged sitting and working at a computer. Effective communication via telephone, email, or face-to-face is required. Extensive travel may be necessary based on client and project needs.
