About the Role

Infosys is seeking an Angular Azure Lead Developer. This position involves engaging with key stakeholders and applying technical expertise across various stages of the Software Development Life Cycle, including requirements gathering, application architecture, and design. The role also involves creating high-level design artifacts, delivering quality code, leading validation, and supporting activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty. Required Qualifications

1. Must be located within commuting distance of Calgary, Alberta, or willing to relocate. Travel may be required.
2. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited institution; three years of relevant experience can substitute for each year of education.
3. 7 to 9 years of relevant experience as a highly experienced Android developer.
4. Authorization to work in Canada without employer-sponsored visa is required; no immigration sponsorship is available for this role.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Java, Android build systems, Kotlin, and Android development tools like Jetpack Compose, Room, Retrofit, Firebase.
• Object-oriented design skills, including design patterns, data structures, and test-driven development.
• Knowledge of memory management, concurrency, Android internals, UI design principles, and best practices for high-performance apps.
• Experience building Android apps from scratch with architecture focus, familiar with MVP, MVVM, VIPER.
• Experience with REST, JSON, third-party libraries like Dagger, RxJava, GSON, Jackson.
• Hands-on experience with JUnit, Mockito.

Additional Information

Estimated annual salary in Ontario: $89,004 to $115,491.

The role involves sitting and working at a computer for extended periods, with possible extensive travel based on client and project needs.
