Job description

VIRTUAL61 - REMOTE / TELETRAVAIL - QC - BMO

Job Family Group :

Must be Fluent in French & English written & oral.

Understands customer needs and provides wealth and investment-related sales and service to BMO customers or prospects. Advises customers on wealth and investment strategies and products that meet customer’s objectives. Fulfills sales and service activities for the customer in accordance with approved procedures. Identifies and makes referrals to other business groups as needed.

  1. Make outbound calls to customers and proactively seek opportunities to enhance customer experience by providing suitable investment products.
  2. Stay updated on consumer needs, industry trends, best practices, and regulatory environment related to provided products and services.
  3. Provide professional sales and service for customer and prospect inquiries, issues, and requests.
  4. Probe to understand customer needs and advise accordingly.
  5. Achieve sales targets focusing on relevant investment products.
  6. Manage all transactional outcomes of customer contacts or refer to appropriate internal groups.
  7. Escalate complex or unresolved customer situations to senior managers when necessary.
  8. Ensure accurate documentation after customer interactions to process requests properly.
  9. Maintain current knowledge of investment markets, practices, and trends, and incorporate this into customer conversations professionally.
  10. Integrate marketing promotions and programs into customer interactions where appropriate.
  11. Maintain confidentiality of customer and bank information.
  12. Identify and report suspicious activity related to money laundering.
  13. Adhere to regulatory and compliance requirements, including AML, FCAC, and Privacy Act provisions.
  14. Handle complex and diverse tasks within given rules and may include managing escalations.
  15. Analyze issues and determine next steps.
  16. Perform broader responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications :
  • Typically 2-3 years of relevant experience, with a post-secondary degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • Knowledge of market trends and product offerings.
  • Familiarity with BMO Investment / BMO InvestorLine products and services.
  • Completed Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or IFIC course / IIROC licensed as an Investment Representative.
  • Understanding of Risk Management & Compliance.
  • Fluent in French & English.
  • Good collaboration, team skills, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Salary : $37,500.00 - $69,500.00

This range reflects BMO Financial Group’s pay scale and may vary based on location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications. Compensation may include performance incentives, bonuses, and benefits such as health insurance, tuition reimbursement, and retirement plans.
