VIRTUAL59 - REMOTE / TELETRAVAIL - ON - BMO

Job Family Group :

Mandarin and / or Cantonese verbal and written skills required.

Understands customer needs and provides wealth and investment-related sales and service to BMO customers or prospects. Advises customers on wealth and investment strategies and products that meet customer’s objectives. Fulfills sales and service activities for the customer in accordance with approved procedures. Identifies and makes referrals to other business groups as needed.

  • Make outbound calls to customers and proactively seek opportunities to enhance customer experience by providing suitable investment products.
  • Stay updated on consumer needs, industry trends, best practices, and regulatory environment related to provided products and services.
  • Provide professional sales and service for customer and prospect inquiries, issues, and requests.
  • Understand customer needs thoroughly and advise accordingly on investment options.
  • Achieve sales targets focused on relevant investment products.
  • Manage all transactional outcomes of customer contacts or refer to appropriate internal teams.
  • Escalate complex or unresolved customer issues to senior managers as needed.
  • Complete necessary documentation after customer interactions to ensure accurate processing of requests.
  • Maintain current knowledge of investment markets, practices, and trends, and incorporate this into customer conversations professionally.
  • Incorporate marketing promotions and programs into customer interactions where appropriate.
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer and bank information.
  • Identify and report suspicious activity potentially related to money laundering.
  • Adhere to regulatory and compliance standards, including AML, Terrorist Financing reporting, FCAC provisions, and Privacy Act.
  • Handle complex and diverse tasks within established rules / limits, including escalations.
  • Analyze issues and determine appropriate next steps.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications :

  • Typically 2-3 years of relevant experience; post-secondary degree in a related field preferred or equivalent experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • Knowledge of market trends and product offerings.
  • Familiarity with BMO Investment / BMO InvestorLine products and services.
  • Completion of Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or IFIC course / IIROC licensed as an Investment Representative.
  • Understanding of Risk Management & Compliance.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Good collaboration and team skills.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Salary :

37,500.00 - $69,500.00

Salary varies based on location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications, and may include commissions. Part-time salaries are pro-rated. The listed salary is the target for the first year, and total compensation may include incentives, bonuses, and benefits. More details at Total Rewards .
