Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, finance or a related field.
• 0-2 years of relevant work experience.
• Pursuing CFA or CIM designation is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with eVestment or Bloomberg would be an asset.
• Knowledge of the institutional investment industry would be an asset.
• Professional presence with strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated with a high energy level; organized and detail-oriented.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Team player with initiative and adaptability.
• Drafting documentation (in French and English) for Canadian and international clients.
• Liaising with employees in Montreal, Toronto, and Calgary.

Responsibilities

• Client servicing support: assist Investment Counsellors with analysis and preparation of client portfolios and reports.
• Business development support: respond to RFIs, RFPs and DDQs; customize presentations for institutional prospects.
• Performance analysis: develop attribution commentary for investment strategies provided to clients and prospects.
• Capital markets writing: support content creation to enhance client communications.
• Data sourcing: update institutional prospect and client collateral.
• Competitive analysis: build competitor intelligence profiles.
• Ad hoc: work independently and with the team on strategic initiatives.
