Job summary

Collabera in Downtown Toronto is seeking a Manager, Program Controls, Workflows & Governance to lead the controls framework for a multi-year Investment Platform Transformation. You will design, document, and coordinate controls across the program, ensuring governance from an audit and risk perspective.

The role requires hands-on experience in controls or technology controls, capital markets knowledge, and the ability to translate risk requirements into concrete controls, with collaboration

Qualifications

• 7+ years of controls, audit, technology controls, operational risk, compliance, or program assurance experience.
• CPA or professional controls/risk certification such as CISA, CIA, CRISC, CISSP, or equivalent
• Strong hands-on experience designing and implementing controls, including control documentation, evidence requirements, testing, governance, deficiencies, and remediation
• Capital markets/investment management experience, with an understanding of investment platforms, business/product processes, and the broader investment lifecycle
• Experience translating audit and risk requirements into practical controls, workflows, documentation, and governance processes
• Strong stakeholder management skills with experience across business/product, technology, risk, audit, compliance, and transformation/change teams

Responsibilities

• The Manager will act as the central controls lead for the Investment Platform Transformation, coordinating with business/product teams, Risk, Audit, Technology, Data, and other stakeholders.
• Design and implement controls, create and maintain evidence, ensure processes and workflows meet audit and risk requirements.
• Support development of the Target Operating Model by reviewing workflows, roles, touchpoints, access requirements, and embedded controls.
• Coordinate audit and assurance requests, support access and segregation-of-duties governance, track deficiencies and remediation, report on control health and risks.
