Job summary

Scotiabank's Scotia iTRADE division in Montreal seeks an Investment Associate with deep equity and derivatives market expertise. You will execute complex orders, manage risk in real-time, and deliver high-quality client service for advanced traders.

You will collaborate with multiple departments to resolve issues, maintain operational integrity, and grow client assets through informed recommendations, all while adhering to regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Requires CSC, CPH, DFOL or Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRO) credentials and Derivatives Exam to be registered as an Investment Representative for Equities and Options.
• University degree or work equivalency is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced trading and client service support to Scotia iTRADE’s High Value and highly active trader segment.
• Explain advanced trading concepts to sophisticated investors with clarity.
• Collaborate with Credit, Compliance and Order Management to mitigate risk and ensure proper handling of orders.
• Identify opportunities to grow client assets and deepen relationships through cross-sell and advisory conversations.
• Maintain client service standards and respond promptly to inquiries, orders, and follow-ups.
