Job summary

RBC Dominion Securities' Kamloops branch is seeking an Investment Associate (Trade Execution Specialist) to join our Private Investment Management Team. You will execute portfolio trades, update models, and support the Portfolio Manager in keeping IPS-aligned strategies current.

You will also handle currency exchanges, monitor cash balances, and process discretionary and non-discretionary trades, contributing to a collaborative environment that focuses on client outcomes and disciplined

Qualifications

• Must have approval as an Investment Representative (IIROC) and/or CFA Level I.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong problem solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute model portfolio changes (Trading Execution).
• Exchange foreign currency when needed.
• Keep models up to date on a weekly/monthly basis.
• Review cash balances for investment or debit coverage for discretionary and non-discretionary accounts.
• Execute all other trading for team members (post client review changes, monthly payments, EFTs & wires).
• Debit forecasting – ensure cash balances for quarterly fees.
• Review and maintain PIM Dashboard and ensure IPS alignment.
• Review and execute reorg notices.
