Job summary

Scotia Wealth Management in Montreal, QC is seeking an Investment Associate to support a Wealth Advisor in developing and managing client relationships and driving business development.

You will identify opportunities, prepare and present reports, create client communications, coach junior associates, and ensure efficient administrative processes across the branch while delivering exceptional service to both French and English speaking clients.

Qualifications

• Experience in the securities industry.
• Approval as a Registered Representative (RR) with the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
• Exceptional client service skills, providing a professional and respectful experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities to gather additional assets and/or increase revenue.
• Utilize knowledge of products and services to identify opportunities within the existing client base.
• Work with Advisor and Total Wealth Specialists to deepen client relationships through total wealth planning.
• Prepare, analyze, and present reports and recommendations to clients.
• Collaborate with Advisor to develop and distribute client communication and marketing pieces.
• Lead and coach other associates on the team and within the branch.
• Review administrative processes to ensure efficiency and proper logging for tracking.
