Job summary

J.D. Irving, Limited (JDI) seeks a Stores Team Leader to coordinate warehouse, inventory, and maintenance activities for Irving Paper. You will oversee day‑to‑day Stores operations and ensure safety, organization, and efficiency.

Lead Stores personnel, manage rebuildable inventory, control surplus/obsolescence, and maintain data accuracy. You will support CMMS systems and drive continuous improvement in a heavy industrial setting with rotating after‑hours on‑call duties.

Qualifications

• Leadership and people management experience.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with computer systems (MS Office).
• Experience with maintenance or material handling environments.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of Stores personnel and Stores processes.
• Managing the rebuildable inventory program.
• Managing surplus, obsolescence and new items.
• Managing vending machine access & reporting.
• Medius processing for Stores purchasing.
• Data management for inventory items.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Manage selected project initiatives and other improvement projects.
