Position Summary

Join the JDMI at UHN, one of Canada's largest medical imaging departments, performing over 750,000 exams annually. We prioritize patient care, image quality, innovation, research, education, and service. The department is dedicated to ongoing quality assurance and is affiliated with the University of Toronto and the Michener Institute of Education.

Duties
  • Manage ordering, receiving, and restocking of implants and non-stock items
  • Collaborate with IR Operations Lead, Inventory Supervisor, and Senior Buyer on supply chain issues
  • Resolve concerns related to inventory levels, damaged or expired products
  • Coordinate loaner and reusable device inventory with vendors and staff
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, loaner equipment, and trial evaluations
  • Ensure proper documentation and processing of inventory with relevant departments
  • Work with radiologists and staff to accurately reconcile implant counts
Qualifications
  • Completion of a college diploma in a relevant discipline or recognized equivalent
  • Two years of related experience in medical imaging, hospital, or medical office environment (preferred)
  • Experience with operating room or interventional radiology environments (preferred)
  • Professional and courteous work ethic, ability to meet deadlines
  • Adaptability to changing workload and priorities
  • Good judgment, multi-tasking ability, confidentiality adherence
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
