YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:

Reporting to the Supply Chain Superintendent, you will be part of the Supply Chain Department. Your responsibilities include managing inventory to support operations, in accordance with policies, procedures, laws, and regulations. You will ensure that goals are achieved while promoting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct, and environmental responsibility.

  • Manage inventory creation and update materials for efficient procurement and inventory control;
  • Review and approve inventory creation requests and consumption rate adjustments;
  • Oversee inventory management functions to ensure materials are available to support operational requirements cost-effectively;
  • Track repairable items and coordinate with planners, buyers, and warehouse yard for smooth tracking and movement of materials;
  • Identify and implement new warehouse process strategies;
  • Collaborate on site warehouse initiatives such as storage space optimization, stock organization, and future projects;
  • Develop controls for non-secure inventory;
  • Organize and manage cycle counts;
  • Investigate inventory count discrepancies and perform audits, ensuring comprehensive cycle count completion with Warehouse Supervisors;
  • Work with end users and warehouse team to identify and reallocate/dispose of slow-moving and obsolete items;
  • Establish processes to manage obsolete materials and measure inventory performance;
  • Support audit requirements and maintain records for monthly activities;
  • Review and process reagent and fuel month-end reconciliation;
  • Coordinate with departments and procurement on long lead-time orders;
  • Foster a positive culture focused on health, safety, and environmental responsibility, supporting the Internal Responsibility System.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED;
  • 5 years of experience in inventory management in an industrial setting;
  • Experience with inventory management software such as SAP;
  • Knowledge of mechanical components;
  • Experience at a mine site is considered an asset;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Schedule: 4/3 schedule at our Macassa Mine in Kirkland Lake, ON.
