Job Description

Reporting to the Convenience Retail Inventory Systems Lead, the Inventory Management Coordinator will play a key role in maintaining the financial control framework necessary for effectively monitoring Shell’s inventory. Responsibilities include reviewing site inventory audits, investigating results, and completing reconciliations accurately and promptly in a fast-paced environment.

Accountabilities
Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Review physical audit results and analyze findings.
  • Learn and navigate the inventory control system to support results effectively.
  • Communicate findings clearly to stakeholders, including non-financial personnel.
  • Identify trends, key issues, and areas for process improvement.
  • Ensure timely and accurate results focusing on impactful issues.
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to refine inventory processes.
  • Identify invoice process gaps and suggest improvements.
Dimensions
  • Manage over 500 sites.
  • Maintain end-to-end oversight of inventory operations and working capital for designated sites.
Knowledge & Skills
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial operations.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Understanding of financial control frameworks; audit knowledge is a plus.
  • Ability to manage workload during peak periods and meet deadlines.
  • Effective team collaboration and communication skills.
  • Quick learner of financial systems and adaptable to process changes.
  • Consistently deliver high-quality work.
