Job summary

Lakeridge Health is seeking a Material Handler for the Whitby area to support inbound/outbound logistics in a busy healthcare warehouse. You will receive stock, stage items for delivery, and maintain accurate records while coordinating with the Logistics Manager.

Responsibilities include inventory reconciliation, safe operation of warehouse equipment, and adherence to WHMIS and infection-control policies. This role requires physical capability and independent workload management.

Qualifications

• WHMIS and infection control knowledge is required.
• Ability to organize and prioritize workload independently.
• Strong verbal and written communication with team members.

Responsibilities

• Receive and organize inbound shipments of stock.
• Stage non-stock and capital products for delivery and assist reconciliation.
• Maintain records of all shipments and paperwork; assist in inventory control.
• Operate and maintain warehouse equipment safely; respond to ad-hoc requests.
• Support safety programs and adhere to hospital policies.
