Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Material Handler for a contract role based in Whitby, ON. The employee will move materials and finished products across packaging, production, processing, and warehouse areas using pallet jacks and pump trucks, while adhering to GMP and SOPs.

The role requires at least 2 years of production experience, comfort with manual equipment, and strong English communication. Weekly pay and benefits are included, with onsite work in Whitby.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of general production experience.
• Proven material handling experience in a production or warehouse setting.
• Experience working in GMP-regulated environments.
• Knowledge of SOPs and ability to follow written procedures accurately.
• Comfort using manual pallet jacks and pump trucks.
• Good English communication skills, including reading and writing.

Responsibilities

• Move materials and products between packaging, production, processing, and warehouse areas.
• Transport materials using manual pallet jacks and pump trucks.
• Follow work orders to determine movement of products and materials.
• Handle and organize materials and deliver to correct departments and locations.
• Lift and move items up to 50 lbs daily.
