Job summary

Walinga Inc in Canada is seeking a Material Handler to oversee movement, storage, and tracking of materials in our warehouse. You will ensure accurate receiving, labeling, and delivery to production and shipping teams.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in material handling, warehousing, or logistics preferred.
• Experience with ERP or warehouse management systems is a plus.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment if licensed.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and move materials within the facility using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders or delivery documents.
• Accurately label, store, and organize materials in designated locations.
• Pick and prepare materials for production or shipment according to schedules and instructions.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions in warehouse management or ERP systems.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with cycle counting.
• Ensure safe handling of materials, following all health and safety policies.
• Identify and report damaged or defective materials to supervisors.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Support cross-functional teams by delivering materials where and when needed.
