Job Title: Inventory Control Specialist

Location(s): Downtown Toronto

Reporting to: Inventory Control Manager

About the Role

As Inventory Control Specialist, you will monitor and manage inventory accuracy across our Canadian stores and warehouse operations. You will support stock availability, loss prevention, and process improvements through data analysis and collaboration with stores, e-commerce, and logistics teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Track and analyze inventory data to identify discrepancies and trends
2. Manage stock reporting using Excel and internal systems
3. Investigate variances and recommend corrective actions
4. Collaborate with store operations, logistics, and merchandising teams to resolve issues
5. Support inventory counts and audit processes
6. Implement process improvements to reduce stock loss and improve accuracy
7. Provide inventory guidelines and training to store and warehouse teams
8. Perform additional duties as assigned

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookup, formulas)
• 3–5 years of experience in inventory control, supply chain, or store operations
• Experience with inventory management systems or ERP software is an asset
• Previous retail, inventory, or warehouse experience is a strong asset
• Analytical, solution-oriented, comfortable working with large data sets
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Organized, detail-focused, and effective time management
• Curious about store and warehouse operations, committed to supporting stores
