Job summary

Grocery Outlet in Vancouver, BC, is seeking an Inventory Clerk to record inventory and ensure items are accurately stocked and stored where they belong. This role reports to the Inventory Control Manager.

You will monitor inventory levels, perform physical counts, process returns, and support data entry and clerical tasks. Familiarity with MS Office and English communication is required. The position may involve operating forklifts in the RFC and supporting team objectives.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in inventory control, auditing, quality assurance, or related work.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) and basic data entry.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and maintains current inventory levels; processes orders as required; tracks order and investigates problems.
• Performs physical count of inventory and reconciles actual stock count to computer-generated reports.
• Processes and documents returns as required following established procedures.
• Performs routine clerical duties, including data entry, and assists in resolving issues.
• May lead, guide, and train other employees or volunteers; may participate in recruitment as appropriate.
• Operate forklifts in the RFC (order pickers, sit-down, standup, pallet jack).
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
