Job summary

American Iron & Metal (AIM) in Montréal-Est is seeking an Inventory Clerk to manage day-to-day warehouse operations, focusing on receiving, storing, tracking and shipping materials with strict inventory accuracy.

You will work with warehouse systems and equipment, maintain organized inventory records and assist internal customers while contributing to a safe, efficient work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse operations or inventory management.
• Comfort using computer tools and inventory systems.
• Organized, detail-oriented and thorough.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Forklift certification is an asset.
• Bilingualism is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, and data-enter materials.
• Organize and store materials with proper labeling.
• Operate pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Maintain inventory records with WMS.
• Assist counter requests and internal customers.
• Prepare orders and handle shipments.
• Perform cycle counts and audits.
• Keep warehouse clean, safe and organized.
• Assist in periodic inventory reports.

Job Description

We are looking for an Inventory Clerk to join our team in Montréal-Est.

You will play a key role in the day-to-day management of our warehouse. You will be mainly responsible for receiving, storing, tracking and shipping materials, while ensuring inventory accuracy.

Key Responsibilities :

• Receive materials, verify their accuracy and condition, and enter the required data into our systems;
• Organize and store materials in designated areas, ensuring proper labeling and categorization;
• Operate various material-handling equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts;
• Maintain accurate inventory records using computer systems and the Warehouse Management System (WMS);
• Respond to requests at the counter and provide excellent service to internal customers;
• Prepare orders, package materials and handle shipments according to sales and distribution schedules;
• Perform manual inventory counts and monitor inventory levels;
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe warehouse;
• Participate in periodic audits and prepare inventory reports;
• Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications

• You have experience in warehouse operations, inventory management or supply chain;
• You are comfortable using computer tools and inventory management systems;
• You are organized, detail-oriented and thorough;
• You have good communication skills and enjoy working as part of a team;
• You have a forklift certification (asset);
• You are bilingual (asset).
