Join the Excel Honda team as an Inventory Attendant!
This role is essential to the management of vehicle inventory, dealership operations, and facility maintenance. We are looking for a reliable, organized, and motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced automotive environment.
Responsibilities
Vehicle Inventory Management
- Receive new and pre-owned vehicles;
- Perform vehicle inspections upon arrival and report any damage or discrepancies;
- Manage vehicle parking, lot organization, mapping, and inventory placement;
- Maintain proper vehicle display throughout the lot and showroom;
- Maintain and care for showroom vehicles;
- Prepare sold vehicles for Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI);
- Ensure vehicles are ready for customer delivery;
- Prepare service loaner vehicles for customers;
- Wash and maintain internal dealership vehicles;
- Maintain showroom vehicle batteries, trickle chargers, and vehicle readiness;
- Assist with tire storage and prepare tires for transportation.
Transportation and Driving Duties
- Transport vehicles between storage facilities and the dealership;
- Transport vehicles to other dealerships as required;
- Complete dealer trade runs when necessary;
- Perform dealership errands and store runs as needed (Home Depot, Canadian Tire, restaurants, etc.).
Facility Maintenance
- Remove snow from parked vehicles;
- Remove snow from stairways and access points;
- Perform general interior maintenance and minor repair work;
- Assist with exterior property maintenance, including watering plants, removing weeds, and collecting debris;
- Maintain cleanliness of the parts department and tire storage areas;
- Assist with flag and exterior signage maintenance;
- Participate in weekend snow clearing of new vehicle inventory when required.

Requirements
- Valid driver's license;
- Manual transmission driving experience;
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions;
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment;
- Good physical condition;
- Ability to safely operate and move a wide variety of vehicles.
