Job summary

DRIVEN in Newmarket, Ontario is seeking a proactive Lot Attendant / Sales Coordinator. The role involves stocking vehicles, preparing them for the lot, and coordinating movement between sales and service while maintaining a presentable dealership environment. The candidate should be organized, punctual, and comfortable working outdoors year-round.

Experience in dealerships is preferred but not required; training is provided. Valid Ontario G driver’s licence and willingness to learn are required.

Job description

This is not a desk job. You'll be at the centre of everything happening across the dealership.

DRIVEN is looking for an organized, energetic and proactive Lot Attendant / Sales Coordinator to join our growing dealership in Newmarket.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on role with a significant amount of work performed outdoors. The successful candidate must be comfortable working outside throughout the year, including during hot, cold, rainy and snowy conditions.

You'll act as an important link between our sales and service departments, helping vehicles move efficiently from arrival through inspection, reconditioning, merchandising and final customer delivery.

We need someone who can see what needs to be done, take initiative and keep things moving without waiting for constant direction.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Stocking newly arrived vehicles into inventory by Verifying vehicle information, mileage, VINs, keys and condition

Preparing newly arrived vehicles for the lot by installing DRIVEN plate frames, window information displays and all required dealership materials

Keeping the dealership lot clean, organized and professionally presented

Parking and arranging vehicles strategically

Tracking vehicle locations and maintaining an organized key system

Coordinating vehicle movement between sales, service and detailing

Acting as a liaison between the sales and service departments

Monitoring vehicles through inspection, safety and reconditioning

Locating and preparing vehicles for customer appointments and test drives

Ensuring vehicles are clean, fuelled and ready for presentation

Checking incoming inventory and reporting damage or concerns

Assisting with vehicle photography and online inventory preparation

Installing licence plates and completing final delivery checks

Maintaining showroom and front-line vehicle displays

Completing local vehicle pickups, drop-offs and dealership errands

Supporting the sales team and management with daily inventory needs
