Surrey Police Service is seeking an Inventory and Maintenance Worker to join our Facilities Management Unit. This on-site auxiliary role involves shipping/receiving, minor repairs, and updating inventory databases within a security-conscious environment.
The position requires Grade 12, building trades exposure, and two years in maintenance, with a valid BC 5 Driver’s license and security clearance. You’ll support procurement and clerical tasks while upholding SPS policies.

Surrey Police Service (SPS) has an exciting opportunity for an Inventory and Maintenance Worker to join our Facilities Management Unit, within the Corporate Services Bureau. This position is responsible for shipping and receiving duties and manual work involving routine repair and modification of furniture and equipment, and a variety of minor preventative building maintenance tasks.
This is an on-site position and to be eligible for this auxiliary position, incumbents must have flexible availability and be able to commit to a minimum of two (2) shifts per month. Shifts may include weekdays, evenings, weekends and holidays. Assigned shifts may be prescheduled or by call-in. While hours are not guaranteed, incumbents may be scheduled up to 35 hours per week based on operational needs and assignment availability. Please note, hours are subject to change in accordance with operational requirements and adherence to the Collective Agreement.
