Job description

HCR Permanent Search is currently working with a top manufacturing company in Vaughan who needs to hire an Inventory Analyst. What is critical for them is that they need someone who has been employed with a tier 1 automotive manufacturing company. Base pay range

CA$75,000.00/yr - CA$80,000.00/yr

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Having at least 2 years of work experience as an Inventory or Materials Analyst while being employed with a tier 1 automotive manufacturing company
• Experience with BOM’s
• Experience with IATF 16949

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Orders and releases raw materials
• Conducts cycle counts and investigations.
• Monitors and tracks performance of suppliers and assists in supplier development.
• Prepares and issues purchase orders for blanket production material at negotiated prices that meet divisional goals of cost competitiveness.
• Handles customs and brokerage issues for production material, equipment, and supplies.
• Performs ongoing inventory analysis and collaborates with cycle counter.
• Reviews inventory discrepancies to identify requirements and improve accuracy.
• Implements systems and provides training as needed with other cross-functional teams.
