The Opportunity:
As a member of the 3PL Management team, this position will be responsible for supporting the accuracy of inventories between Maple Leaf Foods and our 3PL warehouses. In this role, you will act as the single point of contact between our 3PL warehouses and multiple internal departments.

Snapshot of a Day-in-the-Life:
- Manage daily inventory responsibilities for a defined area of the business.
- Conduct root-cause analysis to identify variances and implement corrective actions for inventory accuracy.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for inventory movements between shippers, warehouses, and customers.
- Resolve inventory discrepancies with manufacturing facilities and 3PLs to ensure seamless inventory flow and avoid production risks.
- Serve as the single point of contact for assigned 3PL warehouses.
- Report KPIs such as order fulfillment accuracy, processing time, and shipping accuracy for assigned warehouses.
- Review products for tankage or rework; propose and coordinate dispositions with QA and plants.
- Monitor return of goods, organize dispositions, and coordinate activities across Transportation, QA, and warehouses.
- Collaborate with SC Planning, Sales, Customer Service, and Purchasing for rush orders and special requests.
- Complete period accruals and weekly invoice processing.
- Work with Finance on inventory inquiries and adjustments.
- Prepare financial reports related to inventory.
- Support projects and initiatives with analytics.
- Update systems (EDI support).
- Assist ongoing cost-saving initiatives.
What You’ll Bring:
- Minimum three years of experience in Inventory, Warehousing, or Logistics, or a related diploma/degree (e.g., Business Administration, CPIM, CSCP).
REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask under time pressures with strong analytical skills.
- Strong understanding of warehousing and inventory management.
- Attention to detail and change management skills.
- Proficiency in SAP and adaptability to new systems.
- Experience with EDI.
- Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel.
- Team collaboration skills.
- Understanding of Six Sigma methodology.
