Petro-Canada Lubricants Inc. (PCLI), an HF Sinclair company, located in Mississauga, ON, is seeking a full-time Inventory Materials Specialist. The role involves assisting the supervisor in managing warehouse, tool room, and personnel activities, delivering inventory compliance reports, managing and auditing inventory, maintaining materials master data, optimizing inventory levels, issuing purchase orders, interacting with suppliers, asset recovery, and expediting orders as needed.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Manage the Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) process and make necessary adjustments.
  2. Conduct detailed inventory analysis to maintain optimal inventory levels, understanding stocking criteria, forecasting, and criticality profiles within a maintenance environment.
  3. Collaborate with inventory stakeholders to establish short- and long-term inventory strategies.
  4. Manage reverse logistics for unused materials and coordinate disposition of obsolete items.
  5. Maintain material master data within SAP, DealPoint, Verdantis, or other systems.
  6. Support daily inventory cycle counting and participate in audits.
  7. Expedite materials and overdue purchases as required.
  8. Protect warehouse contents, equipment, and facilities against loss.
  9. Review warehouse documents and reports.
  10. Support policies and procedures within the Materials Management department.
  11. Review receipt and purchase order documents for invoice processing.
  12. Manage locker assignments and requisitions for apparel and uniforms.
  13. Oversee the Fastenal vending machine program, including reporting and invoice review.
  14. Complete monthly KPI reports promptly.
  15. Support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum of five years’ related experience in a similar environment.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Skills Required
  • Knowledge of material handling equipment and transportation management.
  • Proficiency in computerized inventory control systems.
  • Understanding of distribution and warehouse operations.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle special projects effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Work Conditions
  • Office-based role with warehouse and yard work, including occasional night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
