Company Background and Culture

With headquarters in Vancouver, Canada, Taseko Mines Limited is a leading North American copper producer focusing on operational efficiency, low energy and GHG emissions, environmentally sound and socially responsible development, and maintaining healthy and safe workplaces and communities.

The company's key asset is the long-life, low-cost Gibraltar copper mine in south-central British Columbia, which has received numerous environmental and safety awards. Gibraltar is a state-of-the-art facility and the second-largest open-pit copper mine in Canada, producing approximately 130 million pounds of copper and 2.5 million pounds of molybdenum annually, with reserves for over 20 years.

Taseko is also developing the Florence Copper Project in Arizona, a near-term copper producer with a minimal energy, water, and GHG profile. The project, utilizing in-situ recovery technology, aims to produce 85 million pounds of copper annually over a 20-year lifespan. Additionally, the Yellowhead Project, a large, long-term copper deposit in BC, is in the environmental assessment phase, with development plans underway.

Taseko’s strategy is to grow sustainably and profitably by developing high-quality mineral assets. We are seeking qualified applicants interested in joining our team.
