Job summary

Pratt & Whitney Canada invites a motivated student to join our Longueuil campus for a 2027 HR internship. You will work with managers, HR colleagues and unionized staff to support the application of the collective agreement and HR processes.

You will help develop and improve HR tools, manage grievances and investigations, and contribute to on-site HR administration. Fluency in French and strong knowledge of English are required, with the internship running January 5 to April 23, 2027.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in Canada.
• Enrolled in a Canadian university throughout the internship.
• On-site work in the province where you are hired.
• Pursuing a degree in human resources.
• Fluency in French (written and spoken).
• Good knowledge of English for operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with managers, supervisors, HR colleagues and unionized employees to apply the collective agreement.
• Provide support to managers and staff in HR processes and investigations.
• Assist in the development, implementation and improvement of HR tools and processes.
• Contribute to management of grievances, investigations and disciplinary drafting.
• Support on-site HR activities and daily administration.

Location: The position is based at our Longueuil location; internship from Monday to Friday, with flexible hours and exclusively on-site.

What will your day-to-day look like?

• Collaborate with different actors (managers, supervisors, unionized employees (if applicable), salaried employees, HR colleagues, etc.)
• Provide support to managers, supervisors, and unionized employees in the application of the collective agreement.
• Ensure the procedures to be followed for the management of grievances, investigations, and the drafting of disciplinary measures.
• Ensure the implementation of HR processes.
• Participate in the development, implementation, and improvement of human resources management tools.

What do you need to be successful?

• Be eligible to work in Canada
• Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship
• Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired
• Pursuing a degree in human resources
• Fluency in French.
• A good knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken, is required for the operational needs of the Employer and the people with whom the candidate will interact.
