Job summary

Pratt & Whitney Canada in Longueuil is seeking a Corporate Affairs intern to support governance, francization, and events coordination. You will assist in strategic monitoring, briefing notes, and document management, while contributing to francization efforts and event logistics.

Throughout the internship, you will gain exposure to government relations, cross-functional collaboration, and communications within a leading aerospace environment. On-site work is required.

Qualifications

• Be eligible to work in Canada.
• Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship.
• Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired.
• Pursuing studies in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Engineering.
• Strong computer skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

• Governance and Corporate Affairs Administration (40%): conduct strategic monitoring; draft summary notes; support document management; maintain government relations database; update corporate affairs presentations.
• Francization (40%): support francization efforts; update intranet site; assist in preparing agendas, notes, and summaries.
• Events Coordination (20%): provide logistical support for corporate events; assist with internal events such as Lunch and Learns.

Location: The position is based at our Longueuil location; internship from Monday to Friday, with flexible hours and exclusively on-site.

What will your day-to-day look like?

Governance and Corporate Affairs Administration (40%):

• Conduct strategic monitoring related to Corporate Affairs.
• Assist in drafting summary notes and briefing notes.
• Support and improve document management.
• Participate in the creation and maintenance of the government relations database.
• Update standard Corporate Affairs presentations.

Francization (40%):

• Support Pratt & Whitney Canada Francization efforts
• Update the Francizaton intranet site.
• Assist in preparing agendas, taking notes, and drafting summary notes.

Events Coordination (20%):

• Provide logistical support for Corporate Affairs events.
• Assist with the logistics of internal events, such as our Lunch and Learns

What do you need to be successful?

• Be eligible to work in Canada.
• Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship.

• Pursuing studies in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Engineering.
• Strong computer skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.).

Although this position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a working knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
