Job summary

Willson International, a Customs Brokerage and Third-Party Logistics provider, is seeking an International Freight Pricing Analyst. This role supports Sales and Operations with rate requests and rate agreements, including cost analyses and carrier rate comparisons.

You will interact with agents and carriers, prepare pricing reports, and assist bids to secure cargo. A home-based work option is available with standard MS Office proficiency expected.

Qualifications

• University degree or college diploma preferred.
• Minimum two years of international transportation experience with pricing, carrier relations and freight quotations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work from home (if necessary).
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare reports to determine Transportation Cost Analysis based on international shipments.
• Analyze Air/Ocean/Drayage carrier rates and operating costs.
• Assist sales team with service bids for customers to secure cargo.
• Interact with agents and carriers.
• Keep abreast of carrier changes and report to internal teams.
• Perform general office duties as needed.
• All other duties assigned.

Description of Role

We are seeking an International Freight Pricing Analyst to assist the Sales and Operations groups with International Freight rate requests and rate agreements.

• Prepare reports to determine Transportation Cost Analysis based on International
• Air/Ocean/Drayage carrier rates and operating cost, etc.
• Assist sales team with service bids for specific customers in order to secure cargo.
• Interacts with agents and carriers.
• Keeps abreast of carrier changes and reports same to specific internal distribution.
• Performs general office functions such as sending faxes/emails, making copies and delivering messages
• All other duties assigned

Knowledge & Educational Requirements

• University degree or college diploma preferred
• Minimum two (2) years of international transportation experience specifically with pricing, carrier relations and freight quotations
• Working knowledge of MS Office Suite of products (specifically excel)
• Strong communication skills – verbal and written is required
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Ability to work from home (if necessary)
• Problem solving, accuracy, attention to detail and analytical ability is require
