Job summary

Bombardier is seeking a student intern to join the Global Supply Chain team in Montreal. You will learn project planning, data analysis, and automation of data collection while supporting customs, transportation, and warehousing knowledge.

As an intern, you will contribute to contract reviews, reporting tools, and auditing activities for CTPAT/PIP compliance, while working on-site at least two days per week in a hybrid setting.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a post-secondary program in business administration, supply chain management, or similar.
• Dynamic, proactive and able to handle challenges with great attention to detail.
• Able to work on-site at a Montreal facility at least two days per week.

Responsibilities

• Analyze information, review contracts, and assess impacts.
• Develop presentations for various levels of hierarchy.
• Build reporting automation tools for real-time data.
• Prepare customs/tariff classifications and maintain databases.
• Collaborate with partners to implement projects and audits.
• Coordinate with suppliers for origin certificates and CTPAT questions.

What are your contributions to the team?

• Work on information analysis, contract review, impact assessment, non-disclosure agreement.
• Develop presentations for different levels of hierarchy.
• Develop reporting automation tools to provide real-time data.
• Customs tariff classification report creation, database.
• Improve key processes in the Customs team.
• Collaborate with different business partners for project implementation.
• Contact suppliers for certificates of origin, CTPAT questionnaire.
• Visit our plants for auditing purposes for CTPAT, PIP compliance.
• Arrange appointments with service providers and/or different business partners.

• Must be enrolled in a post-secondary program (university, CEGEP) such as business adminstration, supply chain management, or similar.

• You must be able to work independently.
• You have intermediate working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Office 365.
• You are able to work effectively in English and French on a daily basis.
• You are able to work on-site at one of our Montreal facilities at least two (2) days per week, sometimes more, as per the applicable policy.
