Job summary

EQ Bank is seeking a Co-op Student to support its Lifecycle Management & Partnerships team during the January–April 2027 term. You will help drive customer lifecycle initiatives for no-fee and Insiders cards, working with Digital, Marketing, Product, Data, and partners to analyze data and strengthen engagement.

This role offers exposure to data analysis, performance reporting, and cross-functional project coordination, contributing to customer experiences and business outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; able to organize and present information effectively.
  • Strong communication and collaboration across teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Support customer lifecycle management initiatives to improve engagement and retention.
  • Analyze customer, campaign, and business data to identify trends and inform decisions.
  • Collaborate with Digital, Marketing, Product, and Data to plan, execute, and track initiatives.
  • Conduct research on customer behaviours, market trends, and the competitive landscape.
  • Prepare reports, analyses, and materials for internal stakeholders and partner meetings.
  • Support partner relationships through monthly reporting and quarterly business reviews.
  • Assist in monthly performance reviews and data-driven deep dives for senior leadership.
  • Coordinate quarterly business reviews and internal reviews by gathering data and updates.

Work Term: January - April 2027

The PC Mastercard team is seeking a Co-op Student to support its dynamic, fast-paced Lifecycle Management & Partnerships team. The role supports key initiatives across customer lifecycle management, engagement and retention programs, and strategic partner relationship management. It works cross-functionally with Digital, Marketing, Product, Data, and external partners to support initiatives that enhance the customer experience and drive engagement for no-fee and Insiders credit cards. The successful candidate will gain exposure to customer lifecycle strategy, partnership management, data analysis, performance reporting, and cross-functional project coordination while contributing to customer and business outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Support customer lifecycle management initiatives focused on improving engagement, card usage, retention, and the overall cardholder experience.
  • Analyze customer, campaign, and business performance data to identify trends, measure results, and support data-driven business recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Digital, Marketing, Product, and Data to support the planning, execution, and tracking of key business initiatives.
  • Conduct research on customer behaviours, market trends, and the competitive landscape to support strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare reports, analyses, presentations, and executive materials for internal stakeholders and partner meetings.
  • Support the management of strategic partner relationships through monthly reporting, performance tracking, quarterly business reviews, and ongoing initiatives that contribute to long-term partnership success.
  • Support internal monthly business reviews and performance deep dives through data analysis, insight development, reporting, and preparation of materials for senior leadership.
  • Coordinate partner quarterly business reviews and internal monthly business reviews by gathering data and stakeholder inputs, updating presentations, tracking deliverables, and helping ensure materials are completed and delivered on schedule.
Requirements
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an interest in using data to support business decision-making.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to organize, analyze, and present information effectively.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work multiple priorities simultaneously with track record of implementing results.

The incumbent will be working hybrid and in office time will be spent working from EQ Bank's additional office space located at 2200-25 Ontario Street, Toronto, ON.
