Job summary

Bombardier in Dorval invites students to join its HR internship program. The 8-month hybrid placement focuses on candidate management, onboarding and HR support across managers and universities.

The role requires pursuing a bachelor’s in administration, proficiency with MS Office, and fluency in English and French. Interns gain hands-on recruitment experience in a global aviation leader.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in administration (HR preferred).
• Excellent written and spoken communication in English and French.
• Strong organizational skills and discretion are required.

Responsibilities

• Follow-up and manage due diligence for candidates.
• Develop and finalize documents for integration of new employees.
• Maintain up-to-date candidate files during recruitment.
• Provide HR support to interns and managers, advising and facilitating day-to-day management.
• Collaborate with managers, HR business partners and universities to support recruitment initiatives.
• Conduct telephone interviews with pre-selected candidates.
• Organize intern activities, including networking events and happy hours.
• Represent Bombardier at university events and internships.
• Contribute to improving internship and recruitment processes, including transitioning to the candidate management system.
• Perform analyses on HR data to support strategic decisions.

What are your contributions to the team?

• Follow-up and manage due diligence for candidates;

• Provide HR support to interns and managers, providing advice and facilitating day-to-day management.
• Work closely with managers, HR business partners and universities to support recruitment initiatives;
• Conduct telephone interviews with pre-selected candidates, as required;
• Contribute to the organization of various activities for interns, including internal networking events and happy hours;
• Represent the company at Bombardier university events;
• Contribute to the optimization of internship and recruitment processes, in particular during the transition to our candidate management system;
• Perform analyses on HR data to contribute to strategic decisions.

How to thrive in this role?

• You are studying for a bachelor’s degree in administration (preferably in human resources).
• You have a good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (especially in Word and Excel);
