Responsibilities

• Perform product-level requirements definition, allocation, and validation
• Design and analyze system functions focusing on cost, performance, and complexity, including hardware and software decomposition
• Support and analyze product verification methods and coverage, assessing test results for compliance with customer and certification objectives
• Develop tester requirements, test procedures, plans, cases, and descriptions from product specifications
• Manage changes to technical definitions and configuration of products
• Identify and mitigate risks
• Perform other duties as required

Qualifications

• Undergraduate Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
• Minimum 4 years of experience with embedded control systems in aerospace, rail, or automotive industries with high safety criticality
• Knowledge of civil/military standards: DO-178B, DO-254, DO-160, ARP-4754A, ARP-4761
• Experience with traceability tools (e.g., DOORS)
• Eligibility to meet CGRP or ITAR requirements
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Internet, and email
• Strong math skills and good communication skills
• Knowledge of data management and analysis tools (e.g., MatLab, scripting) is an asset
