We’re seeking an Intermediate Software Developer, DevOps to support our development organization in delivering value to customers reliably, efficiently, and safely. You will work in a dedicated team responsible for a segment of the production environment and developer experience, executing projects to meet team goals. Our flexible work policy allows remote or hybrid work, and this role is open across Canada. You will report to the Manager, DevOps.

What You’ll Do

1. Develop software including tools, libraries, automation, and services.
2. Design and build our infrastructure platform, identifying new features, researching technologies, and refactoring existing features.
3. Manage our developer experience and production environments, diagnosing issues, performing upgrades, and automating routine tasks.
4. Support development teams by providing infrastructure interfaces and best practices for the software lifecycle.
5. Participate in a flexible on-call rotation.
6. Document, communicate, and demonstrate your work effectively.

What You’ll Need

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience in SRE, DevOps, or software engineering.
• Proficiency in software development and engineering practices.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools for cloud infrastructure.
• Strong communication skills, teamwork, self-motivation, problem-solving, resilience, and adaptability.
• Preferred: Linux system administration, cloud infrastructure experience, understanding of SaaS development, and related skills.
