Job summary

AppDirect, via Firstbase, recherche un développeur logiciel intermédiaire pour rejoindre l'équipe Firstbase. Vous contribuerez au développement et à l'expansion de la plateforme qui gère l'approvisionnement et le cycle de vie des équipements informatiques des employés.

Vous écrirez des logiciels utilisés par les équipes d'entrepôt, d'approvisionnement et d'opérations client, et participerez à la conception technique tout en garantissant des livrables de haute qualité.

Qualifications

• Développeur(se) logiciel avec au moins 2 ans d'expérience professionnelle.
• Formation en informatique ou expérience équivalente appréciée.
• Bonne connaissance des API REST et GraphQL, et du stack Java (Spring).

Responsibilities

• Implémenter et maintenir des fonctionnalités sur le catalogue produit, les commandes, l'exécution et les interfaces clients.
• Concevoir et étendre des APIs REST et GraphQL avec Java (Spring).
• Travailler avec PostgreSQL et des systèmes de messagerie (Kafka, SQS/SNS).
• Participer à la conception technique des features et échanger les compromis avec l'équipe.
• Garantir la qualité: tests unitaires/intégration/End-to-End et revue de code.
• Collaborer étroitement avec les opérations Firstbase (entrepôt, achats, fulfilment).
• Participer aux rituels d'équipe et favoriser les retours constructifs.
• Utiliser l'IA assistée au développement tout en restant responsable de la qualité.

About You You are a Software Developer with at least 2 years of professional development experience, ready to join AppDirect’s Firstbase engineering team. Whether you hold a degree in Computer Science (or a related field) or bring equivalent hands‑on experience, you thrive on solving real-world operational challenges.

In this role, you will help build and expand Firstbase’s platform, which provisions, tracks, and manages employee IT equipment from onboarding through return and end-of-life. You’ll write software used daily by our warehouse, procurement, and customer operations teams, as well as external customers.

What You'll Do And How You'll Make An Impact

• Implement and maintain features across Firstbase's product catalog, orders, fulfillment, and customer-facing applications
• Build and extend REST and GraphQL APIs using Java (Spring) with guidance from senior engineers on design and approach
• Work with PostgreSQL and messaging systems (Kafka, SQS/SNS) as part of the platform stack
• Contribute technical designs for assigned features and stories, and explain trade-offs to teammates
• Own the quality lifecycle for the work you deliver: write tests at the right layer (unit, integration, and end-to-end), participate in code review, shepherd changes through delivery, and follow through on issues after release. Quality is a shared responsibility across product, engineering, and quality engineering
• Partner closely with Firstbase operations (warehouse, procurement, and fulfillment), first-class stakeholders in what we build. Translate their workflows and constraints into software that works in production
• Participate in team delivery practices and give and receive feedback actively
• AI-assisted development: use coding agents for bounded tasks with review. You stay responsible for understanding the change, test coverage, and merge quality
