Intermediate Project Manager

Hourly Rate:$55 - 70/hour
Clearance Required: OPG Clearance

Overview:
Ontario Power Generation (OPG) is seeking an experienced Intermediate Project Manager with a strong background in nuclear projects and prior OPG experience. This is a high-impact role suited for a self-starter who can hit the ground running with minimal direction and deliver results in a complex, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage assigned nuclear projects from initiation through execution and closeout, in alignment with OPG's project delivery standards.

• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineering, construction, procurement, and commissioning.

• Drive schedule, cost, and scope performance with minimal supervision.

• Interface directly with OPG stakeholders, contractors, and internal departments to ensure successful project execution.

• Identify and mitigate project risks, and manage change control processes.

• Maintain documentation, reporting, and compliance in accordance with OPG standards and nuclear regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Previous experience working at OPG is mandatory—must be familiar with OPG systems, processes, and project governance.

• Minimum 4 years of project management experience, within the nuclear industry.

• Demonstrated ability to take initiative, work independently, and drive results.
