Job summary

Egis Group is seeking an Intermediate Pavement Engineer to support MTO pavement design projects across Canada from Kingston, Ontario. The role offers opportunities to work with a broad team of engineers, architects, and planners on major transportation infrastructure.

The successful candidate will hold a Civil Engineering degree, be licensed as a P.Eng. in Ontario, and bring at least 5 years of pavement design experience, with strong client liaison and project management capabilities.

Qualifications

• University degree in Civil Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario (P.Eng.).
• Minimum 5 years of pavement design experience.
• Ability to work in a team with clients and stakeholders.
• Thorough knowledge of Municipal/Provincial Engineering policies and procedures.
• Experience delivering large scale projects.
• Excellent oral and written communication in English; French an asset.

Responsibilities

• Support pavement engineering delivery for MTO projects in Canada.
• Deliver pavement design elements of transportation infrastructure projects.
• Monitor industry standards, assess client needs, and manage project finances.
• Develop and carry out site investigations for pavement clients.
• Prepare engineering documents, designs, reports and technical documentation.
• Monitor project schedules to meet due dates.
• Advance projects through concept and detailed design phases; manage existing and new clients.
• Liaise with clients, government/regulatory bodies, and contractors.
