RESPONSABILITIES

The Finance Department at ANDRITZ is looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to ensure the accurate processing of invoices and payments, in coordination with our suppliers and internal teams.

  • Verify and enter vendor invoices into SAP system on a daily basis;
  • Process vendor payments timely and as required (EFT, ACH, checks);
  • Respond efficiently and professionally to suppliers’ inquiries and requests (telephone, email, etc.);
  • Follow up with appropriate internal personnel for invoice discrepancies;
  • Review and reconcile vendors’ statements and handle discrepancies appropriately;
  • Resolve discrepancies and issues in a timely manner;
  • Organize and file documents in a paperless environment;

  • Post-secondary education and/or Accounting DCS
  • Bilingualism – strong written and verbal communication skills in French & English;
  • 3 years’ experience in high volume accounts payable;
  • SAP experience an asset;
  • Understanding of sales taxes in Canada as we operate in most provinces;
  • Outstanding customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required;
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Must be autonomous, flexible and have the ability to work well under deadline pressure;
  • Must be proactive and able to multi-task;
  • Must be well organized and able to prioritize;
  • Excellent keyboarding skills: fast and accurate;
  • Must exercise discretion and good judgement.
