Job summary

TWD Technologies Ltd. in Burlington, ON seeks an Intermediate Instrumentation Designer to join our team. This role involves hands-on design work and collaboration with process, electrical, mechanical, piping, and civil teams to support projects from design through execution.

You will prepare instrumentation drawings, review P&IDs and specifications, and ensure deliverables meet project schedules, budgets, and quality standards while providing field and commissioning support when required.

Qualifications

• Diploma, certificate or degree in Instrumentation, Controls, Electrical Engineering Technology or a related field.
• Four to nine years of relevant instrumentation design experience.
• Experience preparing instrumentation and control deliverables for industrial projects.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, engineering drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Working knowledge of instrumentation systems, control systems and electrical interfaces.
• Familiarity with applicable industry codes and standards.
• Experience using relevant instrumentation design and engineering software.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

We are looking for an Intermediate Instrumentation Designer to join our Burlington, ON team. This role is well suited to someone who enjoys hands‑on design work, collaborating with several engineering disciplines and supporting projects from design through execution.

What You'll Do

What You Bring
