Qualifications
3–5 years of relevant forestry experience.
Experience supervising or mentoring junior staff.
Professional designation preferred but not required.
Strong communication, organization, and team skills.
Physically fit and comfortable with remote fieldwork.
Responsibilities
Cutblock and road layout/design.
Forest development assessments and site plans.
Fuel management and wildfire risk reduction planning.
Road deactivation assessments and prescriptions.
Field data collection and reporting.
Skills
Forestry experience
Supervising or mentoring skills
Proficiency with ESRI and Microsoft Office tools
Knowledge of BC forestry regulations
Strong communication skills
Organization skills
Teamwork skills

Fitness for remote fieldwork
