Base pay range

CA$30.00 / hr - CA$40.00 / hr

Location : Downtown Toronto. Hybrid : 2 days in office per week

Duration of Contract / Perm : 6-month contract with potential for extension.

Hours / week : 37.5 hrs / wk. 9-5 PM, M-F

Overview :

We are hiring a Senior Control Tester with deep expertise in finance, audit, and risk. This role will focus on executing control testing programs and supporting the broader risk and governance framework.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct control testing across finance functions to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
• Identify control weaknesses and recommend remediation strategies.
• Support internal audit and compliance reviews.
• Document testing results and prepare reports for executive and regulatory review.
• Collaborate with business units to enhance control effectiveness and risk mitigation.

Qualifications :

• 2+ years of experience in audit, risk, and control testing within financial services.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and operational risk management.
• Excellent analytical and documentation skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders.
