Job summary

Introba is seeking an electrical design engineer to contribute to building projects in Canada. Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is required, with at least two years of design experience and a degree in Electrical Engineering.

You will collaborate with senior designers and project managers to develop power distribution, fire alarm, lighting, and related systems. The role emphasizes adherence to design standards, coordination with multi-disciplinary teams, and participation in construction

Responsibilities

• Coordinate electrical and mechanical requirements with other disciplines.
• Coordinate service requirements/connections with utilities/municipal agencies.
• Support construction administration, review shop drawings and RFIs, issue site instructions and change notices.

Job Summary

Proficient operating knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD is required. Good communication skills, initiatives and inclination to learn are to be demonstrated. Flexibility to deal with changing priorities, and the ability to systematically and reliably respond to critical situations is a must.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Revit and AutoCAD electrical design operations Provide technical assistance to the Senior Designers/Project Managers/Team Leaders as follows:
• Support design of power distribution, fire alarm, grounding, lightning protection, photovoltaic and lighting systems.
• Ensure Introba design checklist and standards are being followed
• Co-ordinate electrical and mechanical requirements with other disciplines involved in the project design team (i.e. Architects, Structural Consultants, Code Consultants, Geotechnical Consultants, etc.).
• Assistance will be provided by senior staff
• Co-ordinate service requirements/connections with the respective utility and/or municipal agencies
• Support the construction administration process, review shop drawings and RFIs, and issues site instructions and change notices with support from senior staff.

• Minimum 2 years design experience in power distribution, fire alarm, lighting and lighting control systems using Revit (or AutoCAD) Ability to read Architectural, Structural, Electrical drawings with minimal supervision provided by senior staff
• Ability to apply prescriptive requirements of electrical building services engineering codes with minimal supervision provided by senior staff
• University degree or College diploma in Electrical Engineering specialization

Introba is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $75,000 - $85,000 annually for this position and local market.
