Job summary

Introba Canada Engineering LP is seeking an Electrical Designer to join our Global Infrastructure team in Toronto. Proficient operating knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD is required, with strong communication and initiative to learn, and flexibility to respond to changing priorities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years design experience in power distribution, fire alarm, lighting and lighting control using Revit or AutoCAD.
• Ability to read Architectural, Structural, Electrical drawings with minimal supervision.
• Ability to apply prescriptive requirements of electrical building services engineering codes with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Revit and AutoCAD electrical design operations.
• Provide technical assistance to Senior Designers/Project Managers/Team Leaders.
• Support design of power distribution, fire alarm, grounding, lightning protection, photovoltaic and lighting systems.
• Ensure Introba design checklist and standards are followed.
• Coordinate electrical and mechanical requirements with other disciplines (Architects, Structural, Code Consultants, Geotechnical, etc.).
• Assistance from senior staff; coordinate service requirements with utilities and municipal agencies.
• Support construction administration: review shop drawings and RFIs, issue site instructions and change notices with senior staff support.

Job Summary

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Revit and AutoCAD electrical design operations
• Provide technical assistance to the Senior Designers/Project Managers/Team Leaders as follows:
• Support design of power distribution, fire alarm, grounding, lightning protection, photovoltaic and lighting systems.
• Ensure Introba design checklist and standards are being followed
• Co-ordinate electrical and mechanical requirements with other disciplines involved in the project design team (i.e. Architects, Structural Consultants, Code Consultants, Geotechnical Consultants, etc.).
• Assistance will be provided by senior staff

• Support the construction administration process, review shop drawings and RFIs, and issues site instructions and change notices with support from senior staff.
