Job summary

Flex Travel Solutions is seeking an Intermediate Data Engineer in Montreal (Hybrid) to design and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines, ensuring reliable data across our platform. The role reports to the Head of Engineering and collaborates with analysts, product teams, and data scientists to deliver structured datasets.

You will work on cloud data platforms, implement data models, and improve data quality while participating in agile ceremonies and code reviews.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in data engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest and transform data from internal and third-party sources.
• Develop and optimize data models in our data warehouse environment.
• Monitor pipeline health, troubleshoot data quality issues, and implement fixes proactively.
• Collaborate with data analysts and scientists to understand data needs and deliver reliable datasets.
• Document data flows, schemas, and processes to support team knowledge and maintainability.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Assist in evaluating and integrating new data tools and technologies.
• Support the migration and consolidation of data sources as the platform evolves.
• Contribute to sprint planning, stand-ups, and agile ceremonies.
• Work with cross-functional teams to align data solutions with business requirements.

If our ethos resonates with you, we'd love for you to join us!As a technology first company, we're currently looking for an Intermediate Data Engineer to join our team.The Role: As an Intermediate Data Engineer at FTS, you will report to the Head of Engineering with the responsibility of building and maintaining data pipelines, integrations, and infrastructure that support our travel technology platform.
