Flex Travel Solutions in Montreal, QC is seeking a Senior BI & Data Analyst in a hybrid role. You will transform complex data into actionable insights for commercial, product, and operations teams, designing dashboards and data models.

Lead junior analysts, define KPI frameworks, and partner with data engineering to ensure robust pipelines while maintaining data quality and supporting self-serve analytics.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in BI, data analytics, or reporting.
• Strong SQL proficiency with Python or R as an asset.
• Hands-on with Power BI and AWS QuickSight.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
• Knowledge of time-series forecasting and anomaly detection.

If our ethos resonates with you, we'd love for you to join us!As a technology first company, we're currently looking for a Senior BI & Data Analyst to join our team.The Role: As a Senior BI & Data Analyst at FTS, you will report to the Head of Engineering with the responsibility of transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive business decisions across our travel technology platform. You will design and maintain dashboards, reports, and data models that support commercial, operational, and product teams, enabling a data-driven culture throughout the organization. As a senior member of the team, you will also mentor junior analysts and help shape analytics standards and best practices.Responsibilities:* Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and AWS QuickSight.* Collaborate with stakeholders across commercial, product, and operations teams to understand reporting needs and translate them into data solutions.* Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources.* Develop and document data models, metrics definitions, and KPI frameworks.* Apply anomaly detection techniques to proactively identify irregularities, outliers, and data quality issues across key business metrics.* Monitor data quality and proactively identify and resolve discrepancies.* Support self-serve analytics initiatives by building reusable datasets and training end users.* Work with the data engineering team to ensure data pipelines and warehouse structures meet analytical needs.* Conduct ad hoc analyses to support business questions, strategic decisions, and product initiatives.* Present findings and insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.* Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the team's analytics standards, processes, and tooling.* Stay current with BI and analytics best practices and propose improvements to tooling and processes.Experience/Skills Required:* 8+ years of experience in a BI, data analytics, or reporting role.* Strong proficiency in SQL; experience with Python or R for analysis is an asset.* Hands-on experience with Power BI and/or AWS QuickSight.* Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and dimensional design.* Experience working with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or similar).* Knowledge of forecasting methods and statistical techniques (time series analysis, trend modeling, or similar).* Familiarity with anomaly detection approaches and their application in a business analytics context.* Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate business questions into data insights.* Excellent communication and data storytelling skills.* Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data accuracy and quality.* Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver in a fast-paced environment.* Experience in travel technology or e-commerce is an asset.* Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field preferred.What you can expect from us:* Hybrid work flexibility (minimum 3 days in office, based in Montreal, Quebec)* Collaboration with a supportive and committed team* Prospects for personal and professional development
